| MCZ Pulling Method |

MCZ method is to generate a strong magnetic force (over 1000 Gauss) around the crystal puller during CZ growth. This will constrain the diffusion of impurities in melting of silicon; as a result the impurity distribution will be very improved. It also significantly reduces oxygen concentration leading to a good lifetime performance. Experimental results show that MCZ method can provide high quality silicon crystal with low oxygen concentration, uniform distribution of doping and good thermal stability. Degradation effect of MCZ cells is significantly reduced. | |
